England & Wales, Free BMD Death Index, 1834-1915: Oct 1895 Rochford, Essex. Age 55 (Dec 1985) Vol 4a, Page 293 Listed as Father at Marriage of Rose to Edmund Huntley in 1892. 1881 Census says Engineer's Fitter, Newington Visiting: nephew Edward HUNTLEY, aged 24 Address: 13 Munton Road, Newington, Surrey. Dave Watts' Notes: Frederick Albert Watts is noted as an Engine Fitter on his sons Birth certificate dated 1874. He is noted as Engineer (Deceased) on the Marriage certificate of Frederick Victor to Ellen Warner in 1899. Less than 58 is relatively young! Could this have been as a result of an industrial accident, or health related? Frderick George stated to me on several occasions that Frederick Albert was a partner in an engineering Works In Norwich, Riches and Watts. But his name is not mentioned as an office barer on the web Appears as a fourth son, the office barer was an elder brother Charles. Recorded in East Wymer, Norwich for 1871 Census. Medical: Since the male line all have suffered Inguinal Hernias, it is speculated that his early death may have been due to a strangulated Inguinal Hernia becoming gangrenous causing early death. Surgical procedures and medical knowledge was somewhat primitive and the general public medical knowledge very poor in 1890's.
